Jesus > Satan

Don't let your past mistakes of years ago, minutes ago, or even seconds ago keep you from God's Grace. You're forgiven. Satan has no say so about that! In the words of Jesus, Go and sin no more.

What Makes You Stand Out?

God's people are not made to blend in. We were made to stand out. Years ago I heard this statement, "We, as Christians, are not better we are different."
What makes us different than everybody else? I'm glad you asked! What makes us different is the way we act, speak, & treat others.
People didn't look at Jesus differently because of the way he dressed. They didn't look at him differently because of what family he came from. They looked at Jesus differently simply because of what he had to offer them.
In your life today, do people around you look at you differently? Are you standing out from the world?
Your words, your actions, your convictions, & your love for the world will set you apart.

Ebola Meets Jesus

If Jesus defeated Satan by the Word then we, too, must speak the Word concerning ALL things that pertain to our lives.
Don't just speak the Word over your family, jobs, decisions, and children but also speak it over your HEALTH!!
Don't involve yourself in conversations that have to do with fear. The world may be afraid of diseases, but as a child of God we should fear no evil. NO EVIL!! This includes sickness and disease.
If your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit then know what God's Word says concerning your body. Don't put yourself in agreement with those who are not of God. Don't for one minute fear ANY sickness or disease. Stay away from those who fear it. Remember, that which you fear will come towards you.
As for me and my house....we are covered by the blood of Jesus. We are children of God. We are made in His image. Therefore, if Jesus doesn't have sickness then neither do we! I am not taking what the world has to give!
Declare this today: My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. No sickness or disease can live here! I am walking in God's diving health!

I Can Not Fail

Go To Your Safe Place

Are you freaking out today? Stop it!
Stop worrying! Stop trying to figure it all out!
When I find that I am walking in worry, stress, doubt I always come to the conclusion that it is because I am doing things in my own strength.
If you are in those emotions right now it is time to stop and check yo self. Yes, I said it....check YO SELF!  There is absolutely nothing wrong with checking ourselves. There is truth to that lyric, "check yoself before you wreck yoself". I hope I gave that justice!
You see, if we keep lashing out at everyone around us for the chaos that we're facing in us we'll begin to push people away who truly care about us. If you keep ignoring God's Word and applying it to your life you willl continue to carry an even heavier burden. A burden that was never meant for you to carry.
Today I ask you to stop and think about what is going on not only around you but in you. How are your emotions? What is your walk with Jesus looking like these days? Are you praying and seeking God in all things? Are you lifting your voice to him in thanksgiving? Are you stepping out of the position that only Jesus can fulfill?
Go to your safe place which is only found in our Savior, Jesus. There is where you'll find your peace and stability.

Seeing Things Through Their Eyes

This year God has shown me great things concerning my belief in His Word. Through the game of football I have been a part of a cheer team with a girl who has down syndrome, and last night our football team played against Texas School for the Deaf. I was so amazed at how well they all played and cheered for their school. Our cheerleader is amazing! She loves to cheer! She loves her team. I see this girl every week do something that challenges herself. Last night, I saw how TSD played on the field. I took notice of how well they all communicated to one another. I saw how the cheer team danced to the beat of a drum for their fans. All I kept hearing in my spirit were these words: ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
I don't know if they were a Christian school as we have played some public schools, but what I do know is that God, our Creator has made it possible for them to do their heart's desire.
One other thing I learned last night was this.....
WE were actually the "disabled" ones. For it wasn't them trying to communicate with us rather it was us trying to figure out how to communicate with them. It was a beautiful sight to see. We were waiting in line at the concession stands and I just kept admiring how well they were working together in there to meet all of our needs. They did it with no problem. I just loved this lesson God was showing me!!!
My friends, there are truly no disabilities, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually IF we believe deep down in our heart and soul that ALL things are in fact POSSIBLE to him who believes.
I ask you today....DO YOU BELIEVE!!?
